My work philosophy

From my first job to co-founding Maiteego, I have been self-taught in everything I've been asked to do, always finding a way to get the task done even if I had never studied it, seen it or worked with it before. Thanks to that, I can code enough to understand and make myself understood by both stakeholders and development teams. It has allowed me to find my feet in many areas, some similar and some completely different, until I reached what I'm most passionate about: product design.

I love working in a team. I believe brainstorming is the most powerful method for producing quality work, because sharing ideas and hearing different points of view always opens many doors to innovation: for me, no idea or question is ridiculous; anything that comes out of someone's mind can be polished like a diamond with the right team.

Apart from teamwork, there is something I consider indispensable in how I work: AI. Used well, AI is a powerful tool, and with it I follow a rigorous product design process: intake, benchmark, divergence, alignment, refinement and, finally, delivery. Together we iterate on criteria, sketches, ideas, prototypes, prompts and data. And with all the time and resources that saves.

That's why I stand up for AI in product design: never to replace, always to complement.
